What we are busy doing at Savvy

 

Savvy provides a gig economy marketplace for patient insights. It connects healthcare innovators (companies, academics, market researchers, product designers, startups, etc.) with patients, consumers and caregivers for the purposes of improving the user-experience of healthcare. Clients request to work with Savvy patients when they seek to understand the patient experience through interviews, surveys, user-testing and beyond. 

 

Why we do it

 

Savvy’s founders both live with chronic illnesses and as they began their careers in the healthcare industry, they noted that while people were often talking about patients, they were rarely working with patients. And if professionals did work with patients, those patients often lacked the diversity necessary to understand the unique needs across communities.

Savvy is recognized as a pioneer in creating a tech platform with true user-focused business practices. We have been featured in Fast Company, the Boston Globe, and were named one of the 50 Most Daring Entrepreneurs of 2018 by Entrepreneur Magazine for our innovative business model. We are now looking for creative and driven students to join us and work directly with our leadership team during this exciting stage of expansion!  

 

About the role

We are most motivated to help the right individuals excel. Below are potential responsibilities, but we will co-create the role with those who will best fit our team's needs and culture.

Responsibilities may include

  • Develop and execute Savvy social media strategy 

  • Craft and implement member engagement strategy 

  • Support gig project management

  • Draft weekly gig newsletter 

  • Help draft client and member outreach communications

  • Brainstorm and help execute client and member growth opportunities 

  • Identify and qualify sales leads

  • General admin support 

 

Requirements 

  • You are a self-starter and are comfortable conceiving and executing tasks independently (this one is a must!)

  • You have strong communication and writing skills

  • You are a social media wiz, bonus for if you have social media strategy experience 

  • You are creative (have you seen our puppet videos? We are open to new ideas!)

  • You are able to work and thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment 

  • You are excited to be part of a team that is challenging the status quo

 

Bonuses

  • Personal experience dealing with the healthcare system or chronic conditions 

  • Familiarity with Google Drive, Hubspot, social media management platforms
